Our Story | ROOTED

Rooted in understanding. Guided by research. Here for her.

Our story · Here for her

You’re still you.
You deserve to feel it.

The woman who wants to say yes to plans. Feel close to someone she loves. Feel comfortable in her own body.

Perimenopause and menopause shouldn’t make her feel forgotten. ROOTED exists because she deserves to be heard.

Why we started ↓
A confident midlife woman in warm sunlight beside an open patio doorway

Before a formula, a conversation

She was looking for answers.
Not another dismissal.

As we listened to women and read their experiences, a pattern kept appearing: changes they hadn’t expected, questions they struggled to ask, and appointments that left them without the understanding they needed.

Some had been told it was simply getting older. Others hadn’t known that perimenopause was even part of the conversation.

Meanwhile, life kept happening. Work. Relationships. Plans with friends. The quiet effort of trying to feel like themselves.

We started ROOTED because “just put up with it” didn’t feel like enough.

We see the life behind the symptoms

It’s never just one little thing.

A change in how your body feels can change how you show up in your life. These are the moments that matter to us.

Closeness

Wanting affection.
Dreading discomfort.

Wanting to feel close to your partner, without discomfort or worry getting in the way. Wanting intimacy to feel like connection, not something you have to explain away.

Everyday comfort

Making plans.
Second-guessing your body.

Choosing what to wear around bloating. Thinking twice about dinner out. Wanting to enjoy the evening instead of spending it thinking about how your body feels.

Feeling like yourself

Still so much life.
Still so much you.

The walk you want to take. The confidence you miss when your hair feels different. The freedom to join in without planning around every little change.

Why the name ROOTED?

Start at the root.

Understanding comes before support.

ROOTED reflects how we approach women’s wellbeing: start by asking what may be behind the changes, rather than treating her experience as a vague part of getting older.

That means listening closely, exploring the research, and making the explanation easier to understand.

We’re here for the whole woman. Her comfort. Her confidence. Her relationships. The everyday life she still wants to live.

Deep research. A human purpose.

We did the reading.
Because she deserves more than guesswork.

Our work began with extensive research into menopause and ingredient science, including published work by researchers at different universities. We spent time studying ingredients, their forms, and the evidence behind their use.

01 / Listen

Start with her experience.

The words women use. The things they’ve tried. The questions they still have. Research matters most when it connects to real life.

02 / Understand

Look beyond the headline.

We examine what was studied, which ingredients were used, and what the findings actually tell us. That work guides our education and ingredient choices.

03 / Make it useful

Give every ingredient a purpose.

Clear explanations, thoughtful formulas, and straightforward routines. Support should be easier to understand, not another thing to figure out alone.
